This policy explains what personal information 153 Base Solutions Inc. collects through this website, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to reflect how this site actually behaves rather than to cover every possibility.

The short version

• This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies and makes no third-party requests. Fonts are served from our own server, not a font network.
• We do not track you, profile you, or sell anything about you.
• The only personal information we collect is what you type into the contact form, plus standard server logs.
• Because we run no tracking technologies, this site does not need a cookie consent banner.

What we collect and why

Contact form

When you send us a message we collect your name, email address, and, if you choose to provide them, your organisation, the type of work you are enquiring about, your timeline, and the content of your message.

We use this only to respond to your enquiry and, if we go on to work together, to deliver the work. We do not add you to a mailing list. We will not send you marketing without asking first, as required by Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation.

Server logs

Our web server records standard technical information for each request: IP address, timestamp, the page requested, referring page, and browser user agent. This is used to keep the site running and secure, and to investigate faults or abuse.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies for ordinary visitors. WordPress sets cookies only for people who log in to administer the site, and those are strictly necessary for that function. There are no analytics, advertising, or social media cookies, and no third-party scripts that could set them.

If we ever add analytics, we will update this policy and introduce a consent mechanism before doing so.

Consent

Sending us a message through the contact form is your consent for us to use that information to reply. You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing us, subject to any legal or contractual obligations we still have. Withdrawing consent may mean we cannot continue to provide a service.

Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate, and only to the extent they need it:

• Our web hosting provider, which stores the site and its database.
• Our email provider, which delivers contact form submissions to us.

We may also disclose information where required by law.

Where your information is stored

Please note: our web hosting is currently provided by a company whose servers for this site are located in the United States. Information stored there may be accessible to United States authorities under the laws of that country. If your organisation requires Canadian data residency, tell us. We offer Canadian-region hosting for client projects and can discuss it for your enquiry.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted within 24 months. Records relating to work we carried out are kept for as long as we need them for the engagement and for the period required by Canadian tax and corporate record-keeping law. Server logs are retained for a short operational period and then discarded.

How we protect it

The site is served over HTTPS. Administrative access is limited to people who need it and protected by strong, unique credentials. Software is patched on a regular schedule. No system is perfectly secure, but we will tell you promptly if a breach creates a real risk of significant harm, and report it as required.

Your rights

Under Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you may:

• ask what personal information we hold about you and how it has been used;
• ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate or incomplete;
• withdraw your consent to our use of it;
• ask us to delete it, where we are not required to keep it.

Email contactus@153base.ca and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Children

This site is aimed at businesses and organisations. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and change the date below. Material changes will be flagged clearly.
