Terms and conditions

These terms govern your use of the 153base.ca website. They are not the terms of any service agreement. Work we carry out for clients is governed by a separate written contract, and where the two differ, that contract governs.

Using this site

You may read, print and share the content here for your own information or to evaluate us as a supplier. You may not scrape it at scale, attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to it, or use it for anything unlawful.

Ownership of content

Unless stated otherwise, the text, design, code, illustrations and logo on this site belong to 153 Base Solutions Inc. The 153 Base name and logo are our marks. You may quote short extracts with attribution and a link; please ask before reproducing anything substantial.

Standards named on this site, such as WCAG and EN 301 549, belong to their respective publishers and are referenced for identification only.

Accuracy

We keep this site accurate and current, including the audit figures we publish, which come from real test runs on the dates stated. Even so, content here is provided for general information. It is not professional advice for your specific circumstances, and you should not act on it alone.

Descriptions of services, engagement models and commitments are indicative. What we will actually do for you is set out in a written proposal and contract.

Links to other sites

Where we link elsewhere, we do so because we think it is useful. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or privacy practices.

Availability

We aim to keep this site available and working, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it without notice.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, 153 Base Solutions Inc. is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website, including indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Accessibility

We build this site to WCAG 2.1 Level AA and publish where it stands, including what is unfinished. If any part of it is difficult or impossible for you to use, tell us at contactus@153base.ca. We treat that as a defect in our own work. See the accessibility statement.

How we handle personal information is set out in our privacy policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of Ontario.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version on this page is the one that applies.
